As Yakima’s most historic funeral home, tracing our roots back to 1899, we pride ourselves in the legacy of the Shaw family. When Shaw’s was purchased back in to local ownership in 2019, the Mohler family has built on and expanded the storied heritage of years ago.
Providing both cremation and burial options, we are honored to care for our local community, without the corporate oversight and remote, Wall Street backed management, experienced by other funeral homes in Yakima. Our dedicated staff and local family owned approach has proven to serve the families of Yakima well. With a large and beautiful chapel, as well as private smaller gathering areas, our facility is both accommodating and flexible, including an indoor reception space.
