Welcome to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel! We’ve been providing full-service funeral home services since 1960. We are proudly family-owned, family-operated, and multi-generational. Rees Funeral Home was established in 1960 by Jerry and Mary Jane Rees. In 1985 they purchased the Olson Chapel in Portage. In 1990 James Krause, a longtime employee, and Patricia A. Rees, the Rees’ daughter, purchased the funeral homes. In 1993 they purchased the Brady funeral home in Lake Station. Patty and Jim have since fully retired. At that time Jim’s son, Josh,
