After working for many other tri-state funeral homes over the years, Patrick A. Leonard, always had a dream of owning his own funeral home. In the spring of 1999, he purchased the former Waller
family farm homestead on Rockdale Road. Following an extensive remodel, Leonard Funeral Home was opened to serve the tri-state area in October 1999. In 2000, Leonard Funeral Home added a crematory to become Dubuque’s first funeral home with an on-site crematory.
Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory is conveniently located in Key West (Rockdale Road) on the south end of Dubuque. Our location boasts ample parking and is fully handicapped accessible. Our viewing rooms are large and comfortable, and can also be used as chapels.
