Founded in 1922 by Henry “Fritz” Chandler in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Fritz was the 2nd Wilbert Licensee in the Country.

He started as the Perfected Burial Vault Company with a location on 709-715 Selby Ave, St. Paul. In early 1940’s moved to its current location in Roseville, MN.

Wesley “Bud” Chandler purchased the business from Fritz in 1945. Chandler-Wilbert grew to 9 locations in MN, ND, WI.

In 1995, Brown-Wilbert emerged, 4th generation. Serving 900 Funeral Homes. Largest Septic Tank Producer in MN, ND. Redi-Rock & Pole Base producer, Largest Casket & Urn Supplier in the Midwest.

Imagination Granite, a division of Brown-Wilbert, manufactures and installs Urn Columbariums & Mausoleums.
