Our Riverside Chapel has been serving the Newport News community since its first location in 1889. The Altmeyer family is proud to carry on its legacy. Directors are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist families. There is an on-site crematory. We tailor each individual service to create the perfect tribute. Our directors can coordinate every detail of a service to include military honors, catering, and floral tributes. We assist with Veteran and civilian death benefits in addition to registration of death with local, state, and Social Security Departments. We honor all faith and cultural traditions.
