Our firm was originally founded by the cabinet maker Joseph T. Pearce, in the mid 1800’s and carried on by his son, Josiah S. Pearce, who was also President of the Merion Title and Trust Co. Josiah sold the firm in 1903 to his intern, William P. Frankenfield, who ran the business until his retirement in 1947. Martin Chadwick purchased the business and operated it until his death, at which time his son, Raymond Chadwick took over. Raymond Chadwick operated the family business under the premise of fair, conscientious service, and a true commitment to excellence in the funeral profession.
That same commitment and values are carried on by Rodger McKinney who started working in the funeral business at a young age. When Rodger was 8, his father
